You love photographing babies… but your confidence is holding you back
These 1-2-1 newborn workshops are designed for photographers who are passionate about babies and families, but don’t yet feel confident enough in their skills to charge what they’d like, or even to take on newborns regularly.

Does this sound familiar?
You worry about newborn safety and feel scared of “doing something wrong” during a session.
You spend too long setting up, changing wraps, and moving between poses, and often wake baby in the process.
You overshoot because you’re not sure you’ve nailed it in camera, and then feel overwhelmed when editing.
You look at other photographers’ work and feel you’ll “never get there”, even though you know you’re capable.
You crave someone to walk you through it, step by step, in a calm studio environment.
If you're saying yes to all of these, then this 1-2-1 Workshop has been created for you.

Across the day, we’ll move through a complete newborn workflow together - from setting up your studio to final images. with plenty of time to ask questions and repeat poses until they feel natural
What You'll Learn
Posing & wrapping
Core beanbag poses (tummy, side, and back variations) so you can create variety without overcomplicating things.
Prop and basket poses that are safe, flattering, and easy to repeat in your own studio.
Parent and sibling posing that feels natural and relaxed, even when they’re nervous.
Full, womb, and “potato sack” wraps to keep babies snug, calm, and settled throughout the session.
Safety, studio & workflow
Newborn health and safety essentials, including room temperature, hygiene, spotting and safe positioning.
Studio set‑up, equipment and props – what you really need and what you can skip for now.
Simple lighting set‑ups for soft, flattering images, plus camera settings that actually make sense.
A smooth, repeatable workflow so you know exactly what to do from the moment the family walks in to the final frame.
By the end of the day, you’ll have a clear checklist for your own sessions and the confidence to guide your clients from start to finish

After the shoot (approx. 1pm) Lunch & Q&A – time to breathe, ask questions, and talk about pricing, products, and how to market your newborn work.
After lunch – Post production & editing: we'll look at my editing workflow and favourite tools.
